Is kidney disease a death sentence?

The kidneys remove waste and surplus fluids from the blood. As the kidneys fail, waste starts to build up. Symptoms emerge gradually. It must be noticed that, at times, kidney disease symptoms are not unique to the conditions. Some people exhibit no symptoms and are diagnosed with a lab test or in the last stage of the disease. Renal failure is caused by chronic kidney disease. Medication can help with symptom control but will not root out the disease. Blood filtering with a machine (i.e. dialysis) or a transplant may also be required in a few later stages.

It would be unfair to say that kidney disease is a death sentence. It could be considered a death sentence if you cannot cure it by any means. Allopathy can always provide you with symptomatic relief. Here, the probability of recurrence of the disease is high. But, Ayurveda suggests a treatment that can root out the disease, and the person can relive a happy and healthy life. How Ayurveda is a saviour can be understood by reading below.

How ayurveda is the saviour?

Ayurveda is our ancient Indian medical science practised for ages. It teaches us the lessons of life. It is also used for managing our health ailments. It has the principle that a balance between mind, body, and spirit should lead to good health. Being originated in India, it is practised across the globe today.

Ayurveda-this branch of medicine is holistic in nature. This means that it focuses on maintaining the overall health of the person. The treatment here is also not prescribed by concentrating on the symptoms of the disease. Instead, it considers many more factors, like the conditions of the mind and body. As per Ayurvedic science, there are three doshas or body types. These are commonly known as vata, pitta, and kapha. We can see a disease when there is an imbalance amongst these doshas. A person with unbalanced doshas will also reveal specific physical or emotional characteristics. These characteristics are attributed to one dominant element. Ayurveda also suggests the integration of yoga into our daily life for the alignment of doshas.

Ayurveda states that any disease in the body occurs due to some imbalance in doshas. Kidney-related diseases arise due to the blockage of body channels called srotas. These srotas are like channels responsible for liquid flow in and out of the kidneys. Ayurvedic treatment has been proven helpful in treating kidney diseases. It works to eliminate kidney problems. Alongside this, it also helps in the restoration of damaged kidney cells. Ayurveda uses herbs and herbal preparations to enhance the functioning of kidneys. Ayurveda offers treatment for all stages of kidney diseases or problems.
